Yom Kippur, known in our English translations of the Bible as “The Day of Atonement”, is the highest holy day among the Appointed Times of the Lord outlined in Leviticus 23. For those who believe in Jesus, it is a day to fast, pray and reflect and ask the Lord to search our hearts. It is a time of repentance and thanking the Lord for His mercy. It is also a time to thank the Lord for the provision of The Lamb of God who has made atonement for our sins.

Our first service is held on the Eve of Yom Kippur from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. We will encourage everyone to engage in a 24 hour fast starting at sundown on this day. We will use a Messianic liturgy including music and prayers related to Yom Kippur. Children may attend with their parents. However, we do not recommend you bring children who are unable to sit quietly for two hours as we do not provide childcare and we have no inside area, like a lobby or sitting area, outside of the meeting space where you can take a child.

At the end of 24 hour fast, we will have a second shorter service from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm involving prayers and scripture reading to conclude the Day of Atonement fast. Whether you have fasted or not, you are welcome to join us. Children may attend with their parents.

This event is free of charge, but please register so that we may have an accurate head count. Please also consider coming prepared to give an offering because all the Appointed Times involve the giving of an offering to the Lord.
