Roots can be good when they feed a tree or plant that produces good fruit. But roots can be very destructive when growing in the wrong place or feeding a plant that produces negative or unhealthy fruit.

The same is true about “roots” in our spiritual lives. We can have good roots and bad roots.  Good roots don’t produce bad fruit. Similarly, bad roots do not produce good fruit.

Often we have “fruit” in our lives that we do not want but we find it difficult to identify the source.  This course aims to help Christians identify the roots of the issues they may face and help them deal with those roots through God’s ways and truth from His Word.

Some examples of bad "fruit" in our lives can be jealousy, fear and anxiety, stress, relationship issues, inability to commit, addictions, and even physical sickness. These issues are an expression of a deeper problem - the root.

Along the same line, if a tree's roots are planted in unhealthy or damaged soil, the tree may be unhealthy or the fruit poor or detrimental to human consumption.

God knows the foundations of your being and the key areas that have affected your life. On this event you will learn how, with God’s help, to identify possible roots to the challenges and issues you or those you love face and how to remove or remedy those roots so they do not continue to negatively impact your life or walk with the Lord. Only when God goes to the root of the problem and brings healing will you truly be free from unwanted fruit.

This special course offers times of teaching, personal reflection, and ministry into areas such as responding to offense, addressing addictions, overcoming fear, and dealing with emotional wounding.

There will be opportunity to receive personal prayer ministry toward the end of the weekend.
