For those who believe in Jesus\ , it is a day to fast\, pray and reflect and ask the Lord to search our he arts. It is a time of repentance and thanking the Lord for His mercy. It i s also a time to thank the Lord for the provision of The Lamb of God who h as made atonement for our sins.\nOur first service is held on the Eve of Y om Kippur from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. We will encourage everyone to engage in a 24 hour fast starting at sundown on this day. We will use a Messianic li turgy including music and prayers related to Yom Kippur. Children may atte nd with their parents. However\, we do not recommend you bring children wh o are unable to sit quietly for two hours as we do not provide childcare a nd we have no inside area\, like a lobby or sitting area\, outside of the meeting space where you can take a child.\nAt the end of 24 hour fast\, we will have a second shorter service from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm involving praye rs and scripture reading to conclude the Day of Atonement fast. Whether yo u have fasted or not\, you are welcome to join us. Children may attend wit h their parents. \nThis event is free of charge\, but please register so that we may have an accurate head count.
